Laura has provided valuation services to privately-held companies since 1999. She has significant experience on valuation issues related to employee stock ownership plans and other ERISA qualified plans.
Laura’s focus is creating detailed financial models and is proficient in analyzing clients’ industries and the impact of current economic conditions on those industries. She performs company research and analyzes financial statements as well as evaluates comparable guideline public companies and merger and acquisition transactions. She has also advised clients on a variety of ESOP-related transaction matters.
Prior to her current position, Laura spent five years with Ross Systems, Inc. in financial management and three years as an independent contractor providing financial consulting services, primarily in the high-tech industry. Previously in her career, she served customers in a variety of industries during her five years at Ernst & Young LLP, an international accounting and consulting firm.
Laura belongs to the CFA Institute, the Security Analysts of San Francisco and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Hayward. |
