Chartwell Advises on Sale of Impact Innovations to IG Design Group

Chartwell advised the Board of Directors of Impact Innovations, Inc. (“Impact” or the “Company”) and its Special Committee, on the sale of the Company to IG Design Group Americas, Inc. (“IG America”).  IG America is a U.S. based wholly owned subsidiary of IG Design Group plc (“IG”), a leading designer, innovator, and manufacturer of celebration, gifting, stationery, and creative play products based in the United Kingdom.  Chartwell advised the Board of Directors of its strategic alternatives resulting from IG’s unsolicited offer to acquire the Company.  Due to the seasonal nature of Impact’s business and the timing of the transaction, Chartwell successfully structured the transaction inclusive of several unique strategies to maximize shareholder value, while completing the transaction within an expedited timeline.
