Chartwell Employees Celebrate 2019 Charity Day

On July 30, 2019, Chartwell employees from seven states gathered together to serve the youth community by volunteering at elementary schools in the inner cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.  The entire firm devoted a full work day to serve Chartwell’s charitable mission to make the world a little better place to live and gave back to the community that has housed our company headquarters for the past 24 years.

Chartwell partnered with Ascension Catholic Academy (ACA) to help create a better learning environment for students by beautifying two ACA schools.  One team of Chartwell employees spent the day at St. John Paul II Catholic School painting and cleaning the school’s main hallways.  Another team of Chartwell employees worked at St. Peter Claver Catholic School to complete custodial and maintenance duties, which included moving furniture and recycling old items that were located in the school’s basement.

ACA is a consortium of Catholic schools serving highly diverse neighborhoods in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area.  In the midst of urban reality, ACA is committed to welcoming families and helping all scholars achieve academic success.  The Academy provides centralized leadership and governance to ensure excellence, accessibility, and sustainability for these cherished community assets.  Learn more about Ascension Catholic Academy by visiting https://acamn.org.
