Accounting Summary

Controller

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the primary focus of this position is the management of the corporate accounting department. The Controller is responsible for providing information, primarily financial in nature, about company activities that will assist management, shareholders, and other users in making educated economic decisions about the company’s future.

Position Location: Minneapolis

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA certification
  • Ten years of hands-on accounting managerial experience
  • Experience using ADP (or similar)
  • Exposure to FINRA laws and regulations a plus

Senior Accountant

This high-visibility position handles a wide variety of responsibilities. Partnering closely with the Controller, a primary focus of this position is to oversee the project accounting function and directly process complex project transactions. The Senior Accountant also serves as the payroll administrator. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of all transaction processes and will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing and recording of monthly transactions to the G/L.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4-year undergraduate degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a professional services firm environment
  • 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a professional services firm environment
