Chartwell Advises Recology Inc. on the Sale of Substantially All Assets of Recology Los Angeles to an Undisclosed Acquirer



MINNEAPOLIS - August 29, 2017 - Chartwell is pleased to announce the successful sale of substantially all assets of Recology Los Angeles ("RLA") to an undisclosed acquirer.  RLA is a subsidiary of Recology Inc. (“Recology” or the “Company”), a nationally recognized integrated resource recovery company in the United States.  Chartwell was retained by Recology to evaluate potential alternatives for RLA to determine optimal strategic outcomes, including the sale of certain assets.  Through this transaction, Recology created significant value through the sale of its non-core assets, enabling the Company to focus on its core lines of business and maximize long-run shareholder value.
