Matt performs analysis related to valuations of privately held middle-market companies, including companies with employee stock ownership plans. He is skilled in the areas of gathering due diligence information and analyzing guideline public companies as well as examining merger and acquisition markets. Matt also studies the economic and industry conditions that can impact a company’s financial statements.
Matt is a member of Chartwell’s consulting team and is experienced in advising companies on a wide range of topics including strategic alternatives, employee stock ownership plans, ESOP transactions, and strategies for long-term sustainability. He works with business owners, management teams, and boards of directors at ESOP companies to provide a holistic perspective of a company’s financial position and future capital claims.
