Hiring for Summer 2026!

Position Location: Chicago

Chartwell’s nine-week (June-August) investment banking internship program is designed to provide entry-level understanding of capital markets, corporate finance, and business valuation with exposure and interaction with all levels within the firm. Interns will act as junior analysts on projects and work alongside execution teams on a variety of Investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity, refinancings, leveraged buyouts, and more.

Basic Qualifications

  • Undergraduate students who will be rising seniors in summer 2026 (and will graduate by July 1, 2027) in pursuit of a business degree and coursework in corporate finance theories
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience multitasking with little oversight
