RO: What It Is, When It Hits, and What It Costs
Ashleigh Newlin and Marissa Semple will cover the basics of ESOP repurchase obligation, including how participants receive shares and when the company needs to pay distributions based on demographics, turnover patterns, distribution policy design (timing and method), and diversification behavior. We’ll provide a high-level framework for calculating per share value and discuss how recycling, redeeming, and releveraging decisions can affect share value and repurchase obligation.
