It is with great excitement that Chartwell announces the retirement of Kari Bedford. Kari has been an integral member of the firm’s accounting department for the past 10 years and has demonstrated what it means to be a true professional. She has put in exceptionally hard work to cultivate Chartwell’s legacy and will truly be missed by all. We wish Kari the very best as she embarks on this next chapter of life with plans to spend more time with family and build their dream home on 49 acres of land in northern Minnesota. Kari’s final day with Chartwell will be March 31, 2023.

With Kari’s departure, we are thrilled to welcome her successor, Kelly Laursen. Kelly will oversee Chartwell’s day-to-day corporate accounting activities in the role of Controller. She has over 20 years of accounting and finance experience, most recently serving as accounting manager at Salo, a national professional services firm. Kelly holds an MBA in accounting and BA in psychology from the University of St. Thomas. Please also join us in welcoming Kelly to the Chartwell team!
