Michael is a member of the firm’s valuation and transaction opinions team. His work covers ESOP assignments, estate and gift planning and reporting, income tax matters, marital dissolutions, shareholder transactions, and M&A. In addition to providing expert witness testimony in commercial arbitration, he advises clients on purchase price allocations, transaction advisory assignments, and other consulting projects.

Michael is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Kentucky. He is also Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) as granted by the AICPA.

Prior to Chartwell, Michael was a Manager at Atlantic Management Company. Earlier, he worked in public accounting with a primary focus on business valuation. He also spent time as a financial analyst, where he performed financial modeling and feasibility analyses for start-up companies in the energy sector and for nonprofit organizations.

Jordan is a member of the firm’s valuation and transaction opinions team. He has nearly 10 years of financial advisory experience performing valuations for a variety of purposes including ESOPs, business and stock, gift and estate tax, personal property, business combination, minority interest buyout, executive reasonable compensation analyses, and appraisal reviews.

Jodan is designated as an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Business Valuation and Machinery & Technical Specialties (MTS) by the American Society of Appraisers.

Prior to Chartwell, Jordan was a Manager at Atlantic Management Company. He has held roles at Armanino, LLP as well as Arthur Financial Services, an Austin, Texas-based regional consulting firm.

Luke is a member of Chartwell’s valuation and transaction opinions team, providing valuation and financial advisory services related to employee stock ownership plans, mergers & acquisitions, financial reporting, and other closely held business needs. He is skilled at cash flow modeling, corporate due diligence, public and M&A market analysis, and evaluating the industry and economic conditions that impact a company’s operations.

Luke is passionate about mentoring the next generation of finance professionals and co-leads Chartwell’s new analyst training and development program. He began his career at Chartwell as a participant in the firm’s internship program.

Sam has experience advising privately held business owners and management teams on a wide range of services including valuations of employee stock ownership plans, ESOP transactions, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic alternatives. As a member of Chartwell’s construction vertical, Sam has extensive experience valuing general and specialty contractors.

Sam is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and regularly attends CFMA Twin Cities chapter events.

Prior to Chartwell, Sam was a credit analyst at CIBC Bank USA where he underwrote loans for middle-market companies and performed cash flow analysis for distressed loans. He also spent time as an associate on the private equity investments team at Thrivent.

Matt performs analysis related to valuations of privately held middle-market companies, including companies with employee stock ownership plans. He is skilled in the areas of gathering due diligence information and analyzing guideline public companies as well as examining merger and acquisition markets. Matt also studies the economic and industry conditions that can impact a company’s financial statements.

Jeff performs valuations and financial analysis of companies with employee stock ownership plans. He is skilled in the areas of gathering due diligence information and analyzing guideline public companies as well as examining merger and acquisition markets. Jeff also studies the economic and industry conditions that can impact a company’s financial statements.

Jeff is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Seattle.

Prior to Chartwell, Jeff was a senior analyst at Legacy Equity Valuations. He was also an intern at Willamette Management Associates.

Jay performs analysis related to valuations of privately-held middle-market companies, including companies with employee stock ownership plans. He is skilled in the areas of gathering due diligence information and analyzing guideline public companies as well as examining merger and acquisition markets. Jay also studies the economic and industry conditions that can impact a company’s financial statements.

Connor performs analysis related to valuations of privately held middle-market companies, including companies with employee stock ownership plans. He is skilled in the areas of gathering due diligence information and analyzing guideline public companies as well as examining merger and acquisition markets. Connor also studies the economic and industry conditions that can impact a company’s financial statements.

Rob joined Chartwell in 2017 and is a member of the firm’s valuation and transaction opinions team. He has experience advising privately-held business owners and management teams on a wide range of services including valuations of employee stock ownership plans, ESOP transactions, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic alternatives. He has expertise in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and the analysis of guideline public companies and M&A markets. Rob has particular experience working with companies in the architecture and engineering sector.

Tyler performs analysis related to valuations of privately-held middle-market companies, including companies with employee stock ownership plans. He is skilled in the areas of gathering due diligence information and analyzing guideline public companies as well as examining merger and acquisition markets. Tyler also studies the economic and industry conditions that can impact a company’s financial statements.
