Katie Weiss

Katie is a member of Chartwell’s consulting team and supports senior members of the firm with the execution of executive compensation-related client engagements. Katie advises companies on executive compensation, board compensation, and incentive plan design. She works alongside business owners, boards of directors, and management teams to benchmark pay practices and implement compensation solutions tailored to each organization’s unique needs. Her broad experience spans a wide range of industries and company structures, giving clients the tools and insights they need to build effective, competitive compensation programs.

Professional Certification & Involvement

Katie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of North Carolina. She is also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Professional Experience

Prior to Chartwell, Katie was a Manager at Grant Thornton Advisors LLC in its compensation consulting practice, where she advised public, private, and nonprofit clients on compensation and incentive plan design, as well as provided tax technical support (e.g. IRC Sections 409A, 4958, 280G).
