Rachel Simon

Rachel is a leader in Chartwell’s consulting practice, advising privately held companies on executive compensation strategy, incentive design, and equity-based programs. She partners with owners, boards, and management teams to benchmark pay, define program objectives, and implement plans that support leadership alignment, especially during ownership transitions. With over 10 years of experience in executive compensation design and administration, Rachel helps organizations create clear incentives that balance stakeholder priorities and reinforce long-term value creation.

Professional Involvement

Rachel is a member of WorldatWork Total Rewards Association, the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP), the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), and an associate member of the American Bar Association. She frequently speaks at national events to help translate complex compensation topics into understandable, actionable takeaways.

Professional Experience

Prior to Chartwell, Rachel was a Senior Manager at RSM US LLP, where she led its executive compensation team and served on the national tax team as a compensation and benefits subject matter expert. Preceding RSM, she was a Manager at KMPG and focused on cross-border executive pay structures for multinational clients. Rachel is a former U.S. Army Staff Sergeant and brings a grounded, servant leadership mindset.
