Chartwell celebrated Employee Ownership Month by staying active to raise funds through ESOPathon. Our team logged miles spent walking, running, and biking throughout the month to help support the Employee Ownership Foundation in its effort to drive the formation of new ESOPs and support employee ownership.
For the fourth year, our wellness committee pledged various dollar amounts to activities completed towards the campaign. At the close of ESOPathon 2024, Team Chartwell logged over 3,700 miles and raised more than $8,800 for the Employee Ownership Foundation!
Chartwell has unparalleled expertise working with ESOP-owned businesses and companies exploring employee ownership. For nearly 30 years, we have remained focused on serving clients for the long run and ESOPs are proven to sustain the lifecycle of many business models. Our ESOP experts share why they are passionate about working with our employee-owned clients:
Nick Braun: I enjoy seeing employee-owned clients succeed in both business growth and employee benefit delivery across a variety of sizes and end markets. I also love that these companies eagerly share the strategies behind their success using their ownership structure, helping others maximize their own outcomes. I can’t think of many other areas of the economy that foster such a collaborative and open exchange of ideas.
Tim Lang: My passion for employee-owned companies stems from their unique ability to align the interests of workers and the organization, which cultivates a more motivated workforce, leading to increased productivity and long-term success for everyone involved.
Tina Langlois: It is extremely gratifying to work with organizations that provide the opportunity for all employees to have a stake in the success of the companies where they work. Employee ownership fosters strong cultures, rich with innovation and collaboration, and helps address wealth inequality, promoting fairness, a deep sense of ownership, and shared prosperity.
Ryan Graham: I believe that when employees have a stake in the success of their company, it leads to a more engaged workforce. It fosters a sense of pride and ownership among employees, leading to a stronger sense of community within the workplace. Employee ownership not only benefits individuals but also contributes to a more sustainable and resilient economy.
Dan Kaczmarek: Employee-owned companies embody a unique commitment to shared success and collective well-being. These organizations not only empower individuals to take ownership of their roles, but they also foster a collaborative culture where every voice matters. Aiding companies in establishing or enhancing employee-ownership is a very rewarding situation.
