Scott has experience in performing financial analyses, including valuation and cash flow modeling as well as creating marketing materials, and gathering and preparing due diligence information. He has successfully executed numerous ESOP and non-ESOP sell-side M&A transactions across several industries, including manufacturing, distribution, construction, industrials, and consumer products.
Scott began his career at Chartwell during his senior year of college when he participated in the firm’s internship program.

He supports mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and ESOP-driven ownership transitions for privately held businesses and financial sponsors. Michael contributes across all phases of the transaction process—from strategic analysis and valuation through marketing, negotiations, and closing. He brings experience in financial modeling, corporate valuation, and transaction structuring, and leads the development of client presentation materials and coordination of due diligence efforts. Michael has worked with clients across a range of industries, including technology, financial services, and business services.

Prior to Chartwell, Michael was an Acquisitions Lead at SureSwift Capital where he developed relationships with prospective acquisition targets and evaluated SaaS investment opportunities. He also spent time as a Banking Associate at Northland Securities underwriting large commercial loan participations.
