Investment Banking Analyst – Hiring for Summer 2026
Position Location: Minneapolis
Chartwell’s corporate finance practice provides independent, solutions-based advice and investment banking services to shareholders, boards of directors, and management teams to optimize our clients’ objectives. The primary focus of the analyst position is to assist with project execution of M&A, capital markets, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) transactions, and strategic alternatives engagements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, related degree in finance, economics, or accounting, with proven success in relevant coursework
- 0-2 years of investment banking or similar experience
- Experience should include cash flow modeling, comprehensive understanding of valuation methods, understanding of ESOPs, leverage finance and transaction structuring, and investment banking basics
- Advanced experience in Excel with financial and cash flow modeling
