Senior Associate – Consulting Practice

The Senior Associate role requires to develop a deep understanding of ESOPs, business valuation and corporate finance theory, as well as the processes and methodologies used by Chartwell. Development of a detailed expertise with Chartwell’s proprietary financial and repurchase obligation models is critical to success in this position. In addition, as a Senior Associate you will:

  • Grow into a senior professional capable of generating and executing your own client projects
  • Manage client projects and interactions 
  • Prepare high quality, complex financial analyses and deliverables for senior review
  • Communicate project related tasks and activities with corporate executives
  • Work on multiple, concurrent engagements with team members across the Consulting practice 
  • Further develop your technical and professional skills
  • Develop as a leader within the Consulting practice
  • Gain exposure to all Chartwell service lines as well as the competitive market
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing professional partners and referral sources


Senior Associate – Compensation Consulting

As a Senior Associate in the Compensation practice, you will lead and manage engagements across a broad range of compensation consulting work, including:

  • Engagement and client management
  • Team leadership and development
  • Incentive plan design and modeling
  • Compensation benchmarking
  • Tax and technical compensation advisory
  • ESOP and ownership-based compensation
  • Business development and firm contribution

Senior Associate – Valuation, Architecture and Engineering

As a Senior Associate in the Valuation practice, you will support project execution and analytical work within our Architecture and Engineering Practice, including:

  • Support senior team members in the execution of technical projects for AE firms
  • Conduct due diligence analysis and financial model data entry
  • Sort, review, analyze, and synthesize large amounts of economic, market, industry, and company-specific information
  • Prepare presentations and reports
  • Build and maintain complex financial and cash flow models
  • Manage multiple workstreams across active engagements
  • Support business development activities
  • Support AE vertical strategic initiatives
