Chartwell Adds Philadelphia Presence, Expands into Northeast

November 2018

Chartwell is proud to welcome Tina DiCroce and Ashleigh Newlin to the firm. They form the foundation of Chartwell’s seventh office across the nation: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Tina and Ashleigh join an ever-deepening bench of professionals with the expertise to develop creative solutions that help ESOP-owned companies manage their ongoing repurchase obligation. With their addition, Chartwell moves to formally provide a segment of its sustainability practice—repurchase obligation analysis—as a stand-alone offering, serving the needs of ESOP clients throughout the country. “We are excited to welcome Tina and Ashleigh to the Chartwell team. Their deep expertise in advising ESOP-owned companies aligns directly with Chartwell’s mission to provide long-term, innovative solutions to our clients. Tina and Ashleigh’s addition bolsters the depth of Chartwell’s market-leading repurchase obligation team,” said Paul Halverson, Managing Director & CEO.

Tina has spent her career advising C-level executives at ESOP companies on how best to manage and fund their ESOPs for long-term sustainability. She serves on The ESOP Association’s Finance Advisory Committee and is a chapter officer for the Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter of The ESOP Association. Tina is a well-known speaker in this industry, presenting frequently at conferences for employee-owned companies. She holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Villanova University. “I was attracted to Chartwell for its flexible approach to analyzing repurchase obligation and other matters unique to ESOP companies. They have always impressed me with their collaborative, team-oriented approach. I’m delighted to be a part of Chartwell,” commented DiCroce.

Ashleigh started her career working corporate side, where she has served as an investment analyst, division controller, and assistant vice president for global financial services. Her in-house experience and deep financial background is well-suited to serve Chartwell’s sophisticated clients. Ashleigh sits on The ESOP Association’s Advisory Committee on Administration and volunteers on the Programming Committee for the Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter and helps with ESOP Emerging Leaders. Ashleigh is a graduate of Princeton University. “I’m really excited to join Chartwell. I look forward to using my experience with repurchase obligation planning to help Chartwell clients, and to consult with clients on a broader array of alternatives,” said Newlin.
