Chartwell provides valuation services to companies with equity-based incentive or compensation plans, including those with complex capital structures.

Many of these compensation plans are subject to IRC §409A or ASC 718 requirements.  We work with privately held and early-stage/emerging companies that offer employee share purchase plans, stock options, stock appreciation rights (SARs), and restricted shares.  Chartwell’s experience and analytical sophistication deliver a work product designed to withstand audit, IRS, and SEC review as well as the scrutiny of acquirers and sellers in M&A transactions.
