Please join us in congratulating Chris Staloch on his 25-year work anniversary at Chartwell! Chris has contributed to the firm’s success in many ways since he joined in August 1997, serving clients across the country as well as his fellow team members.

Some of Chris’s milestones include growing professionally in the firm from analyst up through managing director, performing hundreds of business valuations, advising management teams on ownership strategies, establishing Chartwell’s architecture and engineering vertical, and supporting the firm’s wellness, diversity, and charity committees.

Today, Chris leads Chartwell’s consulting practice, serves on the firm’s board of directors, and provides leadership on the staffing committee. “Chris been a great leader of the firm over the past 25 years and treats everyone with the highest level of respect,” says Paul Halverson, CEO. “He treats his clients and Chartwell family just as well as his actual family and I am grateful to have him as a lifelong friend.” Thank you, Chris – we look forward to the next 25 years!

We are pleased to announce Katie Lind has joined the Chartwell team as a Vice President in our Minneapolis office, further expanding the firm’s consulting practice area. She will lead the execution of executive compensation-related client engagements. Katie has spent over 14 years focused on strategic compensation design and planning, including annual and long-term incentives, as well as broader total rewards. She brings significant experience working with companies to tailor individual solutions to meet their challenges.

About Katie

Katie joins Chartwell after 14 years with WTW, where she advised companies on executive compensation program design and effectiveness, transformational talent retention, and pay and performance alignment. Katie was also instrumental in supporting the WTW Data Services business by assisting multinational clients with complex total rewards data needs and gathering client feedback to improve perspectives and experience.

Katie is an active member of the WorldatWork, Total Rewards Association and the Twin Cities Compensation Network. She holds an MBA from the University of Nebraska and received an undergraduate degree in economics from Carleton College.

We are pleased to announce Ryan Rassin has joined the Chartwell team as a Director in our Chicago office, further expanding the firm’s corporate finance practice area. Ryan will lead the execution of capital-markets related transactions, focusing on debt and equity placement, while also originating capital raising opportunities from lower- to middle-market private equity firms. Ryan brings over 20 years of experience as a principal investor to Chartwell.

About Ryan

Ryan joins Chartwell from LBC Credit Partners where he was an Investment Professional responsible for sourcing, structuring, negotiating, documenting, and closing senior and junior debt investments for both sponsored and non-sponsored financings in support of LBOs, recapitalizations, refinances, and add-on acquisitions. In addition to his responsibilities as an Investment Professional, Ryan served as a rotational member on LBC’s Investment Committee. Over the course of his career, Ryan has originated, executed, underwritten, and managed a wide array of investments including asset-based revolvers, senior secured cash flow loans, split lien term loans, unitranche structures, second lien, mezzanine, and equity co-investments. Prior to LBC, Ryan served as a Director at OFS Capital, Vice President at Bank of America Business Capital, and a Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen LLP.

Ryan serves on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth where he is chairman of the M&A/Private Equity Committee and is co-chair of the Programming vertical for the entire chapter. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and received an undergraduate degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois.

We are pleased to announce that Lindsey Reilly has been appointed as an Officer of The ESOP Association Minnesota/Dakotas chapter. Lindsey will serve as Vice President of Membership where she will act as a liaison to the program committee and help plan chapter events. Their deep expertise in advising ESOP-owned companies aligns directly with Chartwell’s mission to provide long-term, innovative solutions to our clients. Tina has spent her career advising C-level executives at ESOP companies on how best to manage and fund their ESOPs for long-term sustainability. She serves on The ESOP Association’s Finance Advisory Committee and is a chapter officer for the Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter of The ESOP Association. Tina is a well-known speaker in this industry, presenting frequently at conferences for employee-owned companies. She holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Villanova University. “I was attracted to Chartwell for its flexible approach to analyzing repurchase obligation and other matters unique to ESOP companies. They have always impressed me with their collaborative, team-oriented approach. I’m delighted to be a part of Chartwell,” commented DiCroce.

Ashleigh started her career working corporate side, where she has served as an investment analyst, division controller, and assistant vice president for global financial services. Her in-house experience and deep financial background is well-suited to serve Chartwell’s sophisticated clients. Ashleigh sits on The ESOP Association’s Advisory Committee on Administration and volunteers on the Programming Committee for the Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter and helps with ESOP Emerging Leaders. Ashleigh is a graduate of Princeton University. “I’m really excited to join Chartwell. I look forward to using my experience with repurchase obligation planning to help Chartwell clients, and to consult with clients on a broader array of alternatives,” said Newlin.
